Learn the basics of making and glazing your work. You will be taught all the tips and tricks for pottery making so you can develop your ceramic skills.
We offer regular pottery making workshops for beginners & intermediates plus pottery painting.
Our pottery classes are for those who are looking at attending multiple sessions to develop their skills in working with and glazing clay. Book on a ceramic pottery course now. Workshops will be available periodically during the week, evenings & weekends and will 'Pop Up' here for you to book online. You don't have to attend on consecutive weeks but coming regularly will be required to secure a space.
Discount cards available for booking 5 or 10 workshops (after attending your first session).

Alternatively come along and focus on colour, pattern and design by painting ready-made pottery pieces.
Choose your ready prepared ceramic item and get creative making your designs and patterns.
£12 studio fee + cost of the item(s) you choose (£6-£25). 2 1/2 hours. Includes Firing.

Lean the basics of wheel throwing from how to centre your clay to pulling up, shaping and trimming your pot. No experience required, Jo is used to teaching beginners. Unlimited clay to practice with the three best outcomes availble to be glazed and fired.

If you're looking for a one-off hand building pottery making experience, this workshop is for you. Jo will take you through the techniques of forming a basic pinch pot which can then be turned into mug, animal or decorative pot. Let your imagination run wild or dip into the curated Pinterest board for plenty of ideas to get your creative juices going. You will be able to embellish your work with designs/shapes & patterns, plus glaze your pot.
